"
It went up very fast and I think it looks absolutely awsome. I am well pleased and so are the others - Mark [Graphic Designer @ PIP] did a very good job with the colour and design. Lets hope it does its job well too!
I also find that not only is the outcome of the poster great but the customer service you all give is great too. It is most appreciated and it has been a pleasure to deal with you. I hope we can do this again in the future. Please forward my thanks to everyone."
Wendy - Top Kidz 0 to 12
"
We have received a great response from the adverts on the Pillars in Bootle and we feel this has been a good form of advertising for brand awareness.
We would definitely consider using this form of advertising in the future especially to create awareness for our new stores."
Bina Panchal - The Money Shop
"
I believe Public Information Pillars are a valuable resource when planning outdoor media health messaging in providing high visibility communication in heavy footfall pedestrianised areas that other media tools do not have access to.
"
Ian Canning, Sefton NHS
"
We’re really very pleased with the pillars and have had a lot of feedback. There is no doubt that people are noticing our posters

Sarah Poole, Marketing Business Link Yorkshire
"
I made contact with PIP as part of an annual media planning process for one of my clients. I was put through to a member of staff who was able to answer all my questions and offered material which supports my plan. The service I received was fantastic and quite refreshing - quite different to my experiences of dealing with some national companies, who often have very limited knowledge of the area.
My client has typically used Adshel as part of its media mix, in order to target footfall and traffic of both residents and tourists in Great Yarmouth. This year we decided to use PIP sites as an alternative, as they are bigger and more visual and get closer to the target audience. We were pleasantly surprised by the cost of the campaign, we could get more posters for our money, which has made a big difference and PIPs allow us to advertise in areas that budgets would not have allowed with other forms of poster advertising.
The feedback we have received is very positive and we will be increasing our order next season."
Nicky Burgis, Account Director, Creative Sponge Media Planning Agency, Norwich
"
As a small business I have struggled to find affordable advertising that offers me the type of coverage I need. I came across PIP’s I could not believe I could get huge advertising like this for less than I was paying in the paper, I could even afford 2! With the PIP’s I have been able to raise the profile of my business and reach potential customers all day everyday and was seeing a response within a week of my posters going up!

We have been using the pillars in town for some of our special campaigns, Today we have made 225 sandwiches in an hour – needless to say we will be using the Public Information Pillars again. Thank you!

"
I would just like to say from start to finish it has been a pleasure to work with Amy and Kim. The poster is amazing and a lot better than I thought it would be. In under a week it was proving a worthwhile gamble. You are a great team and work very well together.
Thank you for an amazing advert in such a prime location!"
Steve Field - Pro Fishing Tackle, Wellingborough
"
We used PIP for the first time this year to help promote our summer concerts and we will defiantly be using them again. Their service was excellent and quick and the end result was very professional. The after service was also to a high level and we could not have asked for more.
"
Claire Nixon, Visitor Services Manager - The National Trust
"
Advertising on PIP’s has been very beneficial to our company. The pillars are high impact, high visibility and all round good value advertising. The pillars are impeccably maintained, with the artwork and the posters of the highest standard. They add to the local surroundings and we are pleased to have the opportunity of advertising to such a wide audience.
"
Adrian Hughes, Director - All White Taxis, Southport
"
Our PiP representative has provided us with a high level of service throughout our relationship. The pillars look excellent and have helped CCB to present itself to a much wider group in its search for new foster carers.

"
We at Fallenangels noticed an immediate response to our advert going up and since then have had lots of compliments on the design that PIP put together for us, many thanks to the whole team at PIP for making us such an eye catching advertisement.

Mr Graham Lang - Fallen Angels
"
I'm quite pleased with these sites, I did have a drive around when they first went up to view locations and quality. Very good.
New member numbers are very strong at present, particularly so in the last two weeks. I cannot say it is all directly attributable to this but more likely the result of a combination of club and external activity to which the posters have added another valuable element.
I would be interested in looking at moving this campaign forward when this stage is over, by retaining one site in Wallsend and adding 3 new sites in North Shields for 8 weeks."
Gala Wallsend - Norman Fletcher-Manager
"
We really like the pillars, they stand out from the top of the street and are really eyecatching. We love the quality and overall are extremely pleased.
We would consider using the pillars elsewhere due to the great prices offered."
Caroline Fowle - Marketing Officer for Hays Travel H/Q.

We’ve done all the usual advertising, but none have brought us the response that the PIP Posters have

There should be one of these in every Town Square

We constantly recognise the need to review our suppliers and make sure we are getting the best return on any investment we make especially at these most difficult times while budget cuts in public sectors are prevailing.
We (Corby Community Safety Partnership) have installed two public information pillars in Corby at a highly cost effective price. These pillars has had very good reviews with members of public where the posters have been designed to the highest standard of inspiration and the multi-language pillar in Charter Court has been welcomed by the local businesses as it promotes community cohesion and greater understanding of our diverse neighbourhoods.
One of Corby’s main issue is Alcohol related Crime and Disorder and we are incessantly relating to people that we are working with partners to make people aware of the risks of drinking and to avoid drunken behaviour. With great reviews from Corby Community Safety Partners, local businesses and community members we feel that PIP has helped us succeed and have made a massive impact in our town.
I enjoyed working with this friendly and a very creative team at PIP who has collectively enabled us to build a good working partnership that we look forward to continuing."
Sheeba Young,
Community Engagement Support Officer

"
Our community pillar has made local police presence more visible,[...] contributing to increased levels of trust and confidence in the community.
"

"
The information pillar is eye catching and an effective way of spreading the message about the positive measures, which the police and council are taking in reducing crime and disorder across the borough.
"

"
A valuable tool for our community information
"
Inspector Chris Davies (Nottingham LPN)
"
The pillars have enabled me to communicate more effectively with the public in the town centre and give out key information about current initiatives. [...] the main reasons for me investing in the pillars was to raise the profile of my neighbourhood policing [...] to the general public. The pillars have enabled me to display my officers' pictures, names and comprehensive contact details. [...] enabling people to directly contact their local officers.
I have received very favourable comments regarding the pillars including one of my sergeants who found an elderly gentleman jotting down the details of his local officers [...] he was previously unaware of.
The pillars offer an exciting opportunity for other crime reduction measures[...].
I don't think we could get such prominent publicity 24 hours a day so cost effectively by any other means."
Mat Derrick (Cannock NPU Commander)

We originally started using Public Information Pillars in Great Yarmouth about 10 years ago to help combat the problem of illegal fly posting, initially with fifteen pillars. This has now grown to 70 pillars which have proved to be an excellent medium for local businesses to promote their services to the community and have provided a significant additional source of revenue for the town centre partnership.
The Public Information Pillars provide particular impetus to events and tourism. The public will have a ready source of timely information on what's on and what's on offer.
I have not found a more economical way of reaching our customers."
Martin Blackwell, Development Director - ATCM, Great Yarmouth
"
We used PIP Adverts to publicise our fraud referral hotline in an attempt to increase the level of fraud referrals received from members of the public. Since our adverts were placed on the pillars we have received 227 referrals from the public compared to just 62 referrals received for the same period the previous year. This equates to an increase of 366% so I think the figures speak for themselves!
We would definitely use PIP Adverts again, budget permitting of course!
Cheers"
Iain Herron, Senior Fraud Investigation Officer - Bedford Borough Council
"
I would just like to say a big thank you to you and your team for the advertising on the pillars’.
They are really good and it was easy to pick out the ones that would have the most impact.
And I am so glad we chose to display them. Speaking to clients, once they had seen one they commented they had seen the other one and it worked well.
Thanks for all your help with sorting everything out - art work etc and it was always a pleasure speaking to you on the phone; you are very user friendly and you were always available when I rang.
I hope to work with you in the future"
Allison Ball, H2Q Co-Ordinator Health Inequalities - NHS
"
The Great Yarmouth Town Centre Partnership has been working with Public Information Pillars Ltd (PIP) for over 10 years now and I personally have been the main liaison in the town centre for 8 of those.
I have always found PIP and their staff helpful, co-operative and very quick to respond on the very few occasions that problems have been identified. I have no hesitation in recommending them to peers and colleagues involved in the management of public places in other towns and cities as I am confident that the benefits of working with PIP far outweigh any issues or concerns that may be perceived around the use of advertising pillars in public areas."
Jonathan Newman, Town Centre Manager - Great Yarmouth
"
I am writing to you to advise you of the positive impact that Public Information Pillars have had on Southport Town Centre.
Since the introduction, there is no longer a need for A-Boards. The town centre is now a safer and more pleasant environment. I would also like to thank you, your head quarters team and your local representatives for the conscientious management of this programme."
James V Breen (Southport Town Centre Manager)
"
The whole idea of the pillars is to tidy up street furniture, and they should make a good alternative to A-boards.
"
Celia Bahrami (Chief Executive of Borough Council)
"
This is a win-win situation.
I think the Public Information Pillars are fantastic, they not only benefit local businesses and events, but also residents as they plough revenue back into the town for the benefit of the local community."
